Course Summary:

In the Quran, Allah (SWT) says: “I shall not lose sight of the labor of any of you who labors in My way, be it man or woman” (3:195).

Likewise, we, as humans, should be careful to never lose sight of the ultimate goal (Jannat al-Firdous) and the means by which to attain it (our Deen). However, at times worldly responsibilities can pose a challenge to prioritizing our faith above all else. So how do we keep ourselves from getting shrouded?

In this one-day course, catered specifically to women, Sr. Yasmin Mogahed will discuss some of the common challenges women face in maintaining a strong spirituality. How must we prioritize faith above our own children and families? How do we prioritize it above other distractions, such as careers and school? How did some of the greatest women of Islam achieve this, even while leading entire nations? And how do we maintain a strong relationship with Allah during the times when we cannot even pray and fast?
