Why is This Course Important?

Each of us has a need — Allah SWT simply created us dependent on Him. So who better to ask from than Him, and in what better way than the words He has taught us? This course is an essential for every Muslim as it comprehensively covers the various supplications (Duas) revealed in the Holy Quran and brings them to application in everyday life. From the Adhkar which brings one closer to perfecting the remembrance of Allah to the many, all-encompassing supplications and prayers, this course covers powerful invocations — which a believer should never be without.

What Will You Accomplish After Taking This Class?

Students will walk out of this class with several major accomplishments:

• How to call upon Allah by His best titles, names, and attributes
• The etiquette of supplication and how to ask from Allah
• An extensive list of supplications memorized and handy for all situations
• An understanding of word-to-word translation and time and place of revelation
• The correct pronunciation for each supplication

The course will also cover several relevant Hadiths and lessons surrounding many of the supplications along with explanations as to why we have chosen these specific supplications over the many options available.

Ustadh Wisam Sharieff is the founder of Advocating Qur’anic Literacy (AQL), an institute focused on educating communities on how to read, memorize, and understand the Qur’an. He has taught over 15,000 students worldwide through traveling seminars, long-term study, and online instruction. He graduated from the Qur’an Academy in Lahore, Pakistan with a bachelor’s degree in Arabic grammar and a minor in Arabic literature. His studies include studying personally with Dr. Israr Ahmed (R) for one year, studying a summer in Makkah, and earning his ‘ijaazah in Egypt in the Hafs ’an ‘Aasim’s recitation. Ustadh Wisam is also a certified radiology technician.
